Three Stinkers in a Row

I’ve just finished reading three books, and none of them merit a review. They aren’t worth doing anything more than dropping a note to the publisher and telling them that they were bad.

I may just have to take a look for something really good, kind of like trying to clean my palate. Any suggestion? If you have an idea, just leave me a comment, please. I would love to read something recently published that would really engage me. Thanks.

  1. Have you read the Douglas Brodie books by Gordon Ferris? 4 of them starting with The Hanging Shed – all set in post-war Glasgow. Thrillers, but with an overarching storyline about Brodie, and Glasgow really, trying to get back to some kind of normality after the war years.
